Hello everyone! Today’s post is a good old round up of my favorite St.Patrick’s Day Treats. Having an Irish last name (married ones count too, right?) gave me the idea to use this holiday as a theme for the month of March! If you missed my post last week I made an Irish Cream Chocolate Cake that was to die for!
The first half of this list is all St.Patrick’s cakes (for obvious reasons) and the last 6 are just some super cute treats to give you guys ideas or a blueprint for your baking day!
Cakes
1. Leprechaun Cake-

Naked cakes are elegant looking and easy to put together! Another plus to making one is they don’t require much buttercream so you really get to show off your baking skills with flavor (check out The Cake Walker’s delightful chocolate cake recipe!) Also, follow along to his tutorial for the fondant shamrocks!
2.Thin Mint Party Cake-

This girl scout cookie inspired cake has two delicious recipes; Mint Chocolate Ganache, and Mint Swiss Meringue Buttercream! Yumm! Best Friends For Frosting really nailed it with this cake!
3. Irish Cream Chocolate Cake-

This was the cake that was featured on my blog last week. I really focused on the flavors (including Whiskey) and went with a standard look for the outside of the cake.
4. Green Velvet Cake-

Made by Sugar Geek Show, this cake is all that! Velvet cakes are very trendy and this one is no exception. Another plus to following along to this tutorial is learning how to make the super cute sprinkle mix that’s on the outside of the cake!
5. Shamrock Swirl Cake-

A simple Pillsbury cake recipe is so cute and would look great on any dessert table!
6. Leprechaun Hat Cake-

I added this cake to my list because it was one of the first cakes I made back in the beginning. If you have never covered a cake in fondant before, this is a great one to try. You can cover up any flaws with the clover decorations, too!
Other Treats for St. Patrick’s Day
7. Shamrock Shake-

The kids will love this recipe by Three Kids and a Fish! Not only because it is made with ice cream, but it is so easy to make, even the little ones can help out in the kitchen.
8. St. Patty’s Day Parfait-

These parfaits are the perfect combination of brownie, pudding, cool whip, and mint! Made by Sincerely Jean.
9. Leprechaun Hat S’mores-

How adorable are these little treats?! They’re so creative and look easy to make! Thanks Cake Blog for this awesome tutorial!
10. Chocolate Covered Oreo’s-

What a cool idea to take your average Oreo to the next level! See Vanessa Craft is great inspiration!
11. Pot Of Gold Cupcakes-

I love, love, love these cupcakes from Allie at Baking A Moment! This is an amazing frosting technique and this post has great instructions to follow along with!
12. Irish Brownie Bites-

I had to include this boozy treat for the adults. This recipe is a great spin-off from a classic brownie by Home Is Where The Boat Is.
That wraps up this weeks post of my favorite St. Patrick’s Day Treats! Have you made any of these treats? If so, share your pictures in the comments or tag me on Instagram!
